The moon is almost completely covered in water, except for a few islands, and features a variety of submerged, ecologically distinct biomes. The Great Crimson Sea features a full ecosystem of flora and fauna. However, this is only a portion of the moon, located in a massive dormant volcanic crater. The Ice Cap supports a nearly completely different ecosystem, harboring more creatures and plants adapted to the colder temperatures. The rest of the ocean on the moon is known as the Dead Zone. It is extremely deep and nearly devoid of life, supporting only microscopic life forms, and Leviathan Class Organisms. Nachbin is also home to a small population of [[Vargha]], who are believed to have evolved there and who claim to be descended from the Great Whale. They tend to live in coastal communities around the Great Crimson Sea and often emigrate to [[Mobius]]. # Deity Nachbin the Great Whale is a tempest and nature deity. He is regarded as the dispenser of rain, commanding over all bodies of water. He is the collective personification of the ancient concept of the whale in Mobian culture. Nachbin himself is said to spend most of his time flying through the skies of Nachbin, occasionally descending deep within the Great Crimson Sea on the moon. Because of his association with the Great Crimson Sea, Nachbin the Great Whale is also regarded as a blood deity by some followers. Nachbin is considered the progenitor of the Whale Regents of the Four Seas. Each one of the four Whale Regents of the Four Seas is associated with a body of water found on Mobius.
